Trail of Florida's Indian Heritage

2007 Site and Heritage Interpreter Membership Application Form

The Trail of Florida's Indian Heritage is a non-profit network of organizations, historical sites, museums, and individual members that share the commitment to the following Mission Statement--

         - promoting responsible site visitation and

         - public education of Florida's Indian Heritage

Interpretation will engage all levels, will be consistent and based on current science to encourage heritage tourism.

By completing this application for Trail Site or Trail Interpreter status, the organization agrees to participate in the Trail activities and support the Trail's mission statement. The cost of this level of membership is $150 per year. For this membership fee, approved Trail sites are represented on the regularly updated Trail of Florida's Indian Heritage advertising brochure that is distributed throughout Florida and to Trail organizations. In addition, Trail Sites and Independent Interpreters are entitled to a description of their site and/or activities including photographs and a website link on the Trail of Florida's Indian Heritage website. Site status should significantly enhance visitation to a Trail Site. Trail Sites are also provided the opportunity to host Trail Speaker Series events.  The Trail website, trailofthelosttribes.org, will also list the Trail Sites and near term events and activities at the sites.

Please complete and submit the following form to apply for Site and Heritage Interpreter Membership. Applications are reviewed by the Trail of Florida's Indian Heritage Board of Directors. If approved, your site will be invoiced for the annual membership fee.
